Music Teachers National Association
MTNA helps empower music professionals. The organization empowers music teachers nationwide to become better educators through networking, leadership, mentoring and educational opportunities.
Music Student Advisory Board
The Music Student Advisory Board consists of nine students selected from music majors and minors for the purpose of advising the Department Chair on all matters related to the Department of Music. Members of the Council are selected to represent a cross-section of degrees, performance areas, and student classification (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior). All students within the Department are encouraged to contact one or more members of the Council to share concerns, ideas, or suggestions regarding the Music program. The Student Advisory Council meets monthly with the Chair during the academic year.
