About the Department

Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Music at Colorado State University 福利小视频 is to prepare undergraduate students to function professionally in their chosen field of music within the larger context of a liberal education, to provide artistic enrichment for the community, and to serve as an artistic resource.
The preparation provided by our programs allows students to function effectively as performing artists, composers, audio engineers, songwriters, record producers, and much more!
We have a collaborative department culture, where we like to recognize our student accomplishments and outstanding performance.
We focus on small classes, facilitating hands-on experience, interactions with faculty, and opportunities for undergraduate studies.
Degree Programs
Our school offers B.A. degrees in Music Education (K-12), Music Performance (vocal, instrumental, piano, guitar), and General Music.
Minor degree programs include our General Music Minor, Jazz Studies, Composition/Theory and Piano Pedagogy.
- A variety of ensembles including student-led ensembles.
- Choir, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Percussion, Piano, Wind Ensembles and Marching Band
- Solo and Collaborative opportunities
- Scholarships are available for any of our three B.A. degrees
Home to the Festival of Winds, Piano Keyboard Arts Festival, Southern Colorado Honor Choir and Orchestra Festival and The Thunderwolves Marching Band.
Colorado State University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
