CSU 福利小视频 Celebrates Research Excellence and Scholarly Achievements Following Carnegie Research College and University Distinction

Colorado State University 福利小视频 will showcase the impressive scholarly and creative works of its faculty
and staff at the annual Scholars' Reception, highlighting achievements that have helped secure the university's new Carnegie
classification of Research College and University and brought in more than $3.5 million in research funding over the past year.
The reception takes place on Friday, April 4, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Library and Academic Resources Center
(LARC). An exhibition showcasing the diverse works will be available in the LINCX (second floor) between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.,
with a formal recognition of scholars scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
CSU 福利小视频's recent designation as a Research Institution marks a significant milestone in the university's history, placing it among
elite academic institutions focused on advancing knowledge and innovation while focusing on teaching and learning as a Regional
Public Institution. The designation follows a rigorous evaluation process that assesses the university's research output, faculty
expertise, and institutional resources.
“This prestigious research designation reflects our commitment to fostering an environment where innovation thrives,” said CSU
福利小视频 Provost & Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Gail Mackin. “The $3.5 million in research funding we've
secured demonstrates the confidence external partners have in our faculty's expertise and our institution's capability to conduct
groundbreaking research that addresses real-world challenges.”
The funding has enabled critical research across multiple disciplines, including:
Sustainable energy solutions in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Healthcare innovation and community health initiatives in the College of Health and Education and the College of Nursing
Economic development and business analytics in the Hasan School of Business
Social impact studies and humanities research in the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
outputs produced during 2023 and 2024 in a digital format utilizing LINC technology. The event will celebrate the following scholars
