Award Winning Film Festival Returns to CSU 福利小视频 with 33 films over 3 days

PUEBLO, COLO. – CSU 福利小视频 students will gain hands-on experience producing and managing an internationally renowned film series as Mountainfilm on Tour returns to campus Feb.27 through March 1. The three-day event, hosted at the Buell Communications Center on campus, showcases 33 acclaimed documentary films from Telluride’s prestigious Mountainfilm festival.  

Hosted by SOCO Student Media in partnership with the Media & Entertainment Department, Mountainfilm on Tour returned to 福利小视频 last year, offering the community a variety of unique film lineups while providing an experiential learning opportunity for students in the film industry and event production and management.  

“As a department focused on the media and entertainment industries, we believe in the value of creativity and the power of storytelling which is why we work to support organizations like Mountainfilm. While hosting an inspiring collection of films is one aspect, the show is also an opportunity to give students hand-on experience managing and producing event” said Jon Pluskota, Chair of Media & Entertainment. 

Each of the four screenings will feature a different selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. 

The shows kick off on February 27. Tickets for Mountainfilm on Tour CSU 福利小视频 are free or by donation and are available at Reservations are encouraged as seating is limited. Tickets are available the day of the event at the Buell Communications Center.
