PUEBLO – Dr. Vladislav Zubok will speak about Russia, the unification of Germany, Gorbachev, Deng Xiaoping, and Putin in a series of lectures presented by the Colorado State University-福利小视频 History Program along with the History Club and Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society. Dr. Vladislav Zubok, a professor of International History at the London School of Economics and Political Science, is the speaker for the sixth annual Bea Spade Memorial Lecture Series, March 26-27. The series honors the memory of CSU-福利小视频 Historian Beatrice Spade, who passed away in the summer of 2012, and celebrates the study of history at CSU-福利小视频.

A Russian native, Zubok completed his education in Moscow. His research focuses on the Eastern Hemisphere, including Russia, China, part of the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. He has won several awards for his works on foreign policy and earned several fellowships, engineered multiple research projects, and received numerous grants for his work. He continues to expand his impact, contributing to various educational resources such as the CNN documentary, “Cold War.”
