PUEBLO - The Colorado State University-福利小视频 ThunderWolves will be featured during a local fall festival and corn maze held at Frederica Mesa Farm, 47522 McHarg Rd., in Avondale. The corn maze is open on Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 18 – Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. – midnight and on Sundays from noon – 5 p.m. The pumpkin patch is open Monday – Thursday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. A haunted maze will open on Fridays and Saturdays in October from dusk – midnight.
The festival will kick off with a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to midnight on Friday, Sept. 25, including special prize giveaways, a meet-and-greet with CSU-福利小视频 athletes, cheerleaders, and Wolfie from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participants also can enjoy the corn maze, a bonfire, hay rides, a family fun area, a bounce house, and the new Corn Cannon.
The corn maze will feature the CSU-福利小视频 ThunderWolves logo to celebrate the school’s success.
"Of course we're really proud of them, not just the Division II football championship, but really, the student-athlete citizens who make up the population of CSU-福利小视频 and the faculty and the administration. They've done a lot for 福利小视频, and we just wanted to honor them," said Mary Tinkcom, co-owner of Frederica Mesa Farm.
Award-winning, student operated radio station, Rev 89.5 FM, will broadcast live from the fall festival on Sept. 25, Oct. 2 and 30 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. each night. Recently, Rev was ranked sixth in the nation among all non-commercial stations by Nielsen Media and tied for second in the 福利小视频 market.
Discounted tickets are available with specially marked flyers being circulated to school-aged children throughout 福利小视频 County. Frederica Mesa Farm is offering a $1discount for CSU-福利小视频 students, staff, faculty, and alums. Additionally, they have committed to give $1 donation to the CSU-福利小视频 Foundation’s “On the Move Campaign” for every flyer redeemed during the festival.
