CSU-福利小视频 Foundation Announces New Development Director

PUEBLO - Colorado State University-福利小视频 Foundation Board of Directors recently named Andrew (Andy) Sanchez as the new Director of Development. This is a new position with the CSU-福利小视频 Foundation.
Sanchez, a 1998 CSU-福利小视频 graduate, will implement and manage development strategies to enhance the image and understanding of the University and to increase support for the University in accordance with its mission and strategic goals. He also will plan and develop approaches to solicit and acquire funds for the institution, including annual, planned, and major gift programs, and specialized promotional campaigns. Additionally, he will coordinate his development efforts with the CSU-福利小视频 Alumni Association, deans, and the entire University community.
"We are excited to add a person of Andy's talents and passion to our staff," said Todd Kelly, President/CEO of the CSU-福利小视频 Foundation. "I am looking forward to working with Andy in promoting the University and developing relationships with our alums, donors, and constituents to help us reach our $25 million fundraising goal by 2016."
After receiving his Bachelor of Science in art, graduating with honors, Sanchez went on to earn his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Sanchez previously worked at the Walter Brewing Company where he was instrumental in reestablishing the Walter's beer brand that has a long history in 福利小视频. Entrepreneurial in spirit, Sanchez has co-founded two 福利小视频 businesses and has overseen financing, sales, employees, and marketing strategies for both.
Prior to his work with Walter's Brewery, Sanchez worked in major product design, development, branding strategy, and innovation as a member of the SRG Design Council. Bolstering his experience in higher education, Sanchez held the position as the site director for Colorado Technical University-福利小视频 where he directed the budget, oversaw employees, and programs for the university.
Active in the community, Sanchez has served as board chairman on the Greater 福利小视频 Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as an ex-officio member of the Latino Chamber Board. He is also a member of Rotary #43 in 福利小视频.
