JOHN VASQUEZ (he/him)
Executive Director of Graduate Studies and Research

Dr. Vasquez is the Executive Director of Graduate Studies and Research. He has 25 years of experience in higher education, managing various grants from NSF, NIH, and foundations. He oversees the Graduate School and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at CSU 福利小视频, focusing on connecting faculty with grant opportunities and ensuring compliance with policies and review boards like IRB, IUCUC, and Biosafety. Dr. Vasquez is enthusiastic about working at one of the few Hispanic-serving public institutions in the state with a Graduate School. Outside of work, he is involved with rescue dog organizations, volunteers, supports BIPOC causes in the arts, science, and engineering, and enjoys running and CrossFit.

Graduate Assistant and Graduate Student Success Coach

Taylor is a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Student Success Coach at CSU 福利小视频. With over a decade of military experience in training, coaching, and mentoring, Taylor has also served as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman, Environmental Compliance Officer, and Equal Opportunity Advisor. His responsibilities include student engagement, outreach, academic success planning, programming, collaboration, and data reporting. Taylor is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) and is dedicated to fostering resolution, empowerment, and growth within the CSU 福利小视频 community.

Megan Mitchell (she/her)
Graduate Student Success Coach and Text to Connect Project Manager

Megan is a Graduate Student Success Coach and Text to Connect Project Manager at CSU 福利小视频. Text to Connect is the Graduate School's first pilot program for supporting graduate student success. Megan created this program with support and guidance from CSU-福利小视频 faculty, administrators, student organizations, and community partners. Her responsibilities include student engagement, outreach, programming, collaboration, and data reporting. She is a U.S. Army veteran and has experience providing individual and group services to youth and families. Megan is completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) and is dedicated to advocating for equity and student leadership in higher education.
