Text to Connect Program
Text to Connect is a program designed to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for graduate students at Colorado State University 福利小视频. The initiative aims to enhance students' sense of belonging and facilitate meaningful peer connections, recognizing that graduate school can often feel isolating.
To achieve this, Text to Connect utilizes the Signal messaging app, offering a secure and accessible platform for students to engage in short-term, asynchronous, and persistent support. This format allows students to reach out at their convenience, ensuring flexibility in communication without the pressure of immediate responses.
At the heart of this program are the Graduate Peer Success Coaches (GPSCs)—current Master of Social Work students trained to provide empathetic support, guidance, and encouragement. These coaches act as a bridge between students and valuable university or community resources. Whether students need someone to listen, help navigating academic challenges, or referrals to campus services, the GPSCs are there to assist in a nonjudgmental and confidential manner.
Through Text to Connect, students can build relationships with their peers, access timely support, and cultivate a stronger sense of community—ultimately empowering them to thrive throughout their graduate journey.
