Program Overview

A Bachelor of Arts degree from our department provides a well-rounded education with opportunities for exploration and for developing your own path. We offer three BA degrees:

  • K-12 Art Education - preparing to be an art teacher
  • Art History - analyzing and interpreting art and architecture throughout history
  • Art & Creative Media - creating art and design projects

Within all of these, you will gain broad skills such as a second language, be able to select electives and/or a minor, and explore a broad variety of artistic media.

"College should encourage students to grow, explore, and ask questions. With curiosity, creativity, and imagination, students can envision and help build the world we want to live in."
