    Spring Move-In

    New Students – Friday, 1/17 from 8:00am – 5:00pm

This applies to any student who did not live on campus in the previous Fall semester. If you lived on campus the previous Fall semester, you need to follow the process listed under "Returning Residents".

Students must sign up for Spring Housing through their Paws account in the Housing portal. All applications must be turned in 3 business days prior to move-in, at the latest. If you submit an application with less than 3 business days to move in, please contact the Residence Life and Housing Office at 719.549.2602 so we can ensure you have a placement.

    1. Student ID: If you do not have your student ID, you need to go to the Auxiliary Services office on the 2nd floor of the Occhiato Student Center. The office is open 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Students arriving on the weekend without an ID will be given a temporary access card until the next business day. Your student ID acts as your room key in the halls and laundry key for Walking Stick Apartments.
      1. You must have a government-issued picture ID to obtain your student ID.
    2. Housing Check-in: New residents should report to the Greenhorn Hall Front Desk. After arriving at the desk, you will complete some basic paperwork and then a Resident Assistant (RA) will direct you to your room. At this time, your student ID is activated as your room key.
    3. Once inside your room, there will be a poster on the back of the room door. On the poster is a QR code linking to a Check-in Room Condition Report for you to note any issues with the rooms. Anything beyond basic wear and tear should be noted as this form will be used to assess damages upon checkout. Not completing a form indicates that the room is in good condition with only basic wear and tear. Failure to complete a form will not remove the student's responsibility for damages assessed at checkout.
      1. Check-in Room Condition Reports can also be found on our Forms

*Students who need to move in at a later date should contact the Residence Life Office at 719.549.2602 prior to moving in.
