Compliance Training

All university faculty, staff, and students who serve on research projects are responsible for the ethical and safe conduct of research, meeting regulatory requirements, and participating in ethical practices. CSU-福利小视频 offers a compliance training module via the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program), which serves the training needs of colleges and universities, healthcare institutions, technology and research organizations, and governmental agencies as they foster the integrity and professional advancement of their learners.

Compliance training is employee training mandated by legislation, regulation, or policy. It educates employees on the laws or regulations applicable to their job function or industry. These laws are predominantly in place to maintain the safety of the workplace and the dignity of the employee.
As part of CSU-福利小视频’s research compliance training, all researchers should complete the required CITI training based on the nature of their research. Basic training generally includes:
  • Human Subjects Research: Completion of the "Social & Behavioral Research" training module (or "Biomedical Research" module if applicable) based on the research focus.
  • Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR): Ensures adherence to ethical research practices.
  • Conflict of Interest (COI): Ensures researchers understand and disclose any potential conflicts that may impact their research.
Researchers may also be required to complete additional CITI training modules based on the specifics and nature of their research, as determined by their chair, committee, or the IRB.
CITI training certificates must be submitted with Kuali IRB research protocols for review. To access the required CITI training:
  1. Visit
  2. Create an account and select CSU-福利小视频 as your institutional affiliation.
  3. Choose your role, and the required training modules should auto-populate accordingly.
For additional guidance on mandatory and recommended training, please consult CSU-福利小视频's research compliance office or the IRB.
