About Me: 
Hi everyone! My name is Kaylee Hernandez, and I'm an Admissions Counselor at CSU 福利小视频– where I also graduated with a Business Administration and Marketing degree. I'm from La Junta, Colorado, so I am a proud Colorado Native. I am passionate about helping students feel confident and excited about their futures. I love being able to build connections and making sure people feel seen, heard, and supported. When I'm not working you could catch me eating good food, trying new coffee shops, making people laugh, or listening to music. I'm always happy to help– seriously no question is too small, because I want to make you feel like you belong here, because you do! 

Why CSU: 
CSU 福利小视频 holds a really special place in my heart. It's where I grew both personally and professionally, and I get to help others do the same. As a first generation student, I didn't know what to expect from college, but I found a community that welcomed me, supported me, and helped me succeed. I love that CSU  福利小视频 is so affordable, full of opportunities, and just big enough to grow– but small enough to feel like home.

Fun Facts: 

• I have been scuba diving in the Gulf before, in Cancun, Mexico– It was amazing, and I’d do it all over again! 
• I will never say no to dessert– especially if it’s chocolate.
• I am the first child out of six to graduate from a four-year institution. 

Not-so-fun Facts: 

• I talk with my hands way too much and knock stuff over at least once a day. 
• I am not a morning person, but coffee helps me pretend I am. 
• I cry during movies… even if they’re animated. (Looking at you, Up.)
