Program Overview

The Mechatronics Engineering, Bachelor of Science program at CSU 福利小视频 combines key principles of mechanical and electrical engineering to prepare students for careers in advanced technology and automation. This interdisciplinary program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, build, and maintain smart systems that integrate mechanics, electronics, and computing.

Students will develop the ability to design and troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems while gaining hands-on experience with real-world applications in robotics, automation, and manufacturing.

The curriculum includes courses in electronics, electromechanical devices, microprocessors, control systems, robotics, manufacturing processes, computer-integrated manufacturing, quality and reliability, engineering economics, and a senior design project.

This program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, , under the General Criteria.

3 + 2 Program

The Master of Science in Engineering is a 3+2 Program that allows qualified undergraduate students to complete a BS (or other undergraduate degrees of choice), and pair it with an MS program. Students would then obtain both undergraduate level and graduate-level degrees in as little as five years.

    HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH A ENGINEERING DEGREE?

    A degree in Engineering is designed to be completed in four years. The degree requires the accumulation of 130 credit hours. For students completing in four years, the schedule usually involves 30 credit hours per academic year or 15 hours per semester. Some students finish more quickly by taking additional courses in the summer. Others with demanding work or family commitments may take longer to finish.
