Interlibrary Loan allows you to borrow items from other libraries nationally and internationally, free of charge. Articles are yours to keep, while books, DVDs, dissertations, and other items are typically loaned for 6–8 weeks. Renewals are not automatic and depend on the loaning library's policies.

Borrow Books, DVDs, and other materials

Books typically take 3 days to a week to arrive. You will receive an email when your items are ready for pickup at the Circulation Desk. Books may be returned to the Circulation Desk or the Library drop box in the visitor parking lot.

Students, faculty, and staff may request items owned by the CSU Ft. Collins libraries directly through SuperSearch. Sign into your Library Account to submit a request.

If you are unable to find the full text of an article using library resources, look for a link called "Find It @ CSU 福利小视频" or "CSU 福利小视频 Interlibrary Loan." You will be redirected to the library's Interlibrary Loan "self-serve" system, where you can submit a request for an electronic copy. Online articles generally arrive within a few hours to 3 days. You will receive an email with the article attached as a PDF from the Interlibrary Loan Department.

Users may also register for a public library card, place holds, or return items from other PCCLD locations.
