Space Utilization
Dear Campus Community,
The Space Utilization Committee was established to provide recommendations to the President’s Cabinet concerning allocation and use of CSU 福利小视频 spaces, offices, classrooms, and other campus facilities. This memo serves to clarify responsibility for several important functions occurring on campus in the next few months.
New Office Requests
The Committee has finalized an online form at that now may be used to request permanent spaces (e.g., office space, classroom space, rehearsal space) on campus. These requests will be reviewed by the committee and submitted to the President and Cabinet for final approval.
Recurring Events Scheduling
Space requests should not be sought by calling individual campus units or facilities (e.g. Hoag Hall, Rec Center, and Athletics). Priority booking will be given to events based on the facility’s availability and an event’s size and campus impact (academic, recruitment, athletics, community, etc.). Brent Lorenz will work with the current building supervisors and respective Cabinet members to prioritize these requests.
A link to the list of annual events identified as utilizing the OSC is available on this website. If you know of an annual event that does not appear, please contact Brent so that the University can project the amount of space required to carry out these events through the renovation. After a final review of major recurring events and space requirements, the University may attempt to negotiate with an off-campus venue for multiple events should that be necessary.
